This is a special method that uses supercritical CO2 instead of water or alcohol to extract ingredients from natural substances.

    The melanin-reducing effect of Kujisanchi Amber Supercritical CO2 Extract is comparable to that of the representative whitening ingredient, arbutin.

Supercritical CO2 Extract Inca Fruit Oil

    We used the supercritical CO2 extraction method to extract oils from Inca fruit seeds in the Amazon River basin of South America and found that it inhibits the enzymatic activity that breaks down elastin in the skin.

    Oils extracted from Inca fruit seeds using other methods either have weaker inhibition of elastinase activity or none at all.
